Deb was born in Ohio to a family with deep anabaptist Christian roots in the Church of the Brethren, which is where her passion for service grew wings.  Spending her most formative years in a suburb outside of Chicago, Deb continued to develop her mercy gifting as she identified and dreamed about meeting the needs of people most desperate.  After taking short term mission trips to a variety of countries outside the US, Deb traveled to Uganda where God broke her heart for sub-sahara Africa and where she met her daughter.  While professionally a lawyer, Deb spends her free time wrestling her three children (adopted from the US and Uganda) and exercising her passion for mercy ministries through Pure & Faultless.
