• Souvenir Alphonsine, Program Director

    Souvenir brings many years of professional experience in public health and gender-based violence including her work as a Client Care Specialist with International Justice Mission. At IJM, she helped evaluate and provide survivors’ aftercare needs including psychosocial / emotional, physical and spiritual health, safety and security, community reintegration, economic self-sufficiency and education.

    Souvenir holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from University of Rwanda majoring in Community Health, Gender and Mental Health. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology. She is fluent in English, French and Kinyarwanda.

  • Amanda Bennett, Executive Director

    Amanda lived in Rwanda for several years with her family where she served as a Legal Fellow with International Justice Mission and launched Pure & Faultless Rwanda.

    After having to walk away from a fraudulent international adoption she became passionate about justice for vulnerable families and children and co-authored a book about orphan care entitled In Defense of the Fatherless.

    Amanda also co-owns Kiza Solutions, a software company also based in Rwanda, and serves on the Board of Directors for non-profit Reeds of Hope working in DRC.
